I bought my 4 Batch 5 Korean students visit Batu Feringghi today since they want to tried para-sailing. I captured some pictures for them when they ready to fly, take off, and landing. Myself I have tried para-sailing before and it is a amazing experience. Since it is their first para-sailing, they prefer to go in pairs.
Hyun Young & Young Shin fly in pairs
One of the beach boy is briefing the girls on some safety tips and rules before take-off.
The girls need to pull this string gently to lowering the parachute for landing after the beach boy give them a signal on the ground.
they are ready to take off!
Yeah, the girls are now up on the sky.
Beach boys is giving the instruction for landing and the girl start to pull the string.
Landing smoothly or not is all depends on your skill of lowering the parachute via the string and control your body balancing while you feet touch the ground (yeah it's not easy). But not too worry you won't get injured by plug into the sand. ^^
Next, Hyo Tae & Kyung Mi fly in pairs
Interesting isn't it. give a try if you visit Batu Feringghi in Penang. Price range is around RM70 - RM100 depending on the size of the parachute. The beach boys told us there are small size & big size ~ bigger size more costly but it will be more stable when flying. The students are flying in pairs as they were afraid to be fly alone, also worrying of fall down into the sea.. you may bargain for a better price if you have people or buying in groups.
