Warawara Korean Restaurant, Solaris Mont' Kiara, Kuala Lumpur | 와라와라 솔라리스 몽키아라
88 Kimbab extended their business to Solaris Mont Kiara, with the name "Warawara by 88 Kimbab". They are one of the fastest expand Korean restaurant in town that I ever encounter. Husband has been here few weeks ago when they just opened their business.
Located at first floor, Warawara interior is brighter and newer, also slightly wider than 88 Kimbab in Desa Sri Hartamas. Parking won't be an issue here at Solaris MK since there is a basement carpark, unlike Desa Sri Hartamas sometimes we have to make a few rounds just to get a parking place.
Ttukbaegi Bulgogi @ RM20.00
Today I tried their Hotpot Bulgogi Stew. I always think that their stew and the amount of ingredient inside is worth for the money I paid. I can finish this with just a bowl of rice and sweat profusely afterwards since the stew is remain hot in Ttukbaegi while I am eating.
Husband again had the same dish again! He is very loyal to his favourite Tteok Mandu-guk. Read our post of 88 kimbab to find out more about other food we ever tried.
Attached their menu for reference as usual. There are more choices of food especially for Anju. Anju means those dishes that suitable to go along with soju or beers.
Overall, we pay RM38.00 only for 2 pax. Plain rice is free if you order stew / soup. Same goes to plain water. One of the affordable place for Korean food in this expensive neighborhood.
Updates on July'17: Apparently Wara-wara by 88Kimbab has been sold to other owner. Refer to the address below for their location since the google map show original 88kimbab in Desa Sri Hartamas only.
