:: New restaurant in town - another place to have affordable yet authentic taste Korean food in this expensive neighbourhood ::
88 Kimbab extended their business to Solaris Mont Kiara, they open another branch with the name "Warawara by 88 Kimbab". They are one of the fastest expand Korean restaurant in town that we encountered so far. Husband has been here at their branch in Solaris Mont' Kiara few weeks ago when they just opened for business.
Located at first floor, right above MyNews.com and Pret'z n Beans, or opposite Chicken House (Korean fried chicken) and Dr.Cafe. Warawara interior is brighter and newer, also slightly wider than 88 Kimbab in Desa Sri Hartamas. Parking won't be an issue here at Solaris MK since there is a basement carpark, unlike Desa Sri Hartamas sometimes we have to make a few rounds just to get a parking place.
Ttukbaegi Bulgogi @ RM20.00
Today I tried their Hotpot Bulgogi Stew. I always think that their stew and the amount of ingredient inside is worth for the money I paid. I can finish this with just a bowl of rice and sweat profusely afterwards since the stew is remain hot in Ttukbaegi while I am eating.
Husband again had the same dish again! He is very loyal to his favourite Tteok Mandu-guk lol. Read our post of 88 kimbab to find out more about other food we tried before.
Attached their menu for reference as usual. There are more choices of food especially for Anju. Anju means those dishes that suitable to go along with soju or beers.
Overall, we pay RM38.00 only for 2 pax. Plain rice is free if you order stew / soup. Same goes to plain water. One of the affordable place for Korean food in this expensive neighborhood.
