First time to Kuching, Sarawak

I just came back from a short holiday + attend to a best friend's wedding dinner at Kuching, Sarawak (East Malaysia) 3 days ago.  I have a very good experience in Kuching! Nice people, delicious food and beautiful national park! The hotel is great too and not so expensive! If you able to grab a cheap flight ticket to Kuching, recommended you go for 3days 2 night! except for taxi fee can be a bit costly but it's depending on where you stay (Most people will choose to stay at Waterfront)

As a Malaysian, this is my first time visit to another part of Malaysia. I did some on-line reading on what to see, what to eat and I found a lot of information which is useful however some are not so details. Therefore I wish to share my travel experience in Kuching as well. Hopefully this can be useful for those who is going to visit Kuching in near future.

My itinerary is as below:

Day 1 : Kuching International Airport, Imperial Hotel, Boulevard Mall & Kim Bay Restaurant, Chinatown@Jalan Carpenter, Kim Joo Kolok Mee & Chinese History Museum, Kuching Waterfront, Fort Margherita, Mira Kek House, Jalan Padungan Cat Statue

Day 2 : Bako National Park, Kuching Heritage Sites (Jalan Padungan, Kuching Waterfront, The Square Tower, Old Court House, Clock Tower & Charles Brooke Memorial, Plaza Merdeka, Sarawak Museum)

Day 3 : Sarawak Cultural Centre and Damai Beach

Day 4 : Revisit Waterfront (heritage trail), Chinatown & Sarawak Museum

I will slowly write about it in few days time. Just click on the Place name for link to the page.
