Samgyetang @ Hanwoori Korean Restaurant, Ampang

Lately almost raining everyday, make me think of wanted to having samgyetang (Korean Ginseng Chicken) as our dinner tonight. We tried samgyetang at different Korean restaurant before, so far I find the Samgyetang we had in Ampang 2 years ago during the Korean presidential voting day is the best so far. Then, husband told me that he found another better option. So we drove to Ampang in a raining day just for their samgyetang!

The restaurant is Hanwoori. Hanwoori has been operate for years in Ampang, seems like they have renovate the restaurant.

Husband got tanned due to play golf every weekend lately. I bet he is going to hate me for putting his not so presentable picture in my blog hahahaha...Anyway behind husband / our seat is a separate corner for customers who come in group more than 10.

Their banchan (side dishes) taste good. Many diners in the restaurant that night and surprisingly many are locals and most of them having Korean Barbecue.

We order 2 samgyetang, the server told us they need at least 15mins to prepare it.

We normally cut the chicken into 4 pcs before eat. I must say, it is good and worth for the price! Chicken meat is tender and chicken brooth is tasty and I don't need to put much salt.

Having a broiling hot samgyetang in hot stone pot in a cold rainy day ~ perfect! We both have a satisfy dinner!

It's has been drizzling before and after dinner. Looks like the rain won't stop till midnight.
