3D Art Coffee @ 55 Cafe & Restaurant, Penang

We went back to Penang for a short break. A good friend of us bought us to 55 Cafe for coffee. Our first visit to 55 Cafe so happens to be the cafe last day in Lorong Steward (off Lorong Chulia). 55 Cafe will be at 55, Lorong Stewart, 10300 Georgetown, Penang until 28 April 2014 only. It will be rename to COFFEE ON THE TABLE after they move to their new premises at 164, Lebuh Pantai. Visit their Facebook page for more info.

One of the famous steel art at Chulia Street opposite the 55 Cafe. Someday I will spend some to pay a visit for all the famous street arts here in Penang.

Penang's weather is so hot! The cafe is not air-conditioned, only using ceiling fan. We can't help to sit next to a blower but the blower wasn't really able to cool down our body temperature.

After waiting for a while, our orders is here! 3D Arts Coffees for us, bacon back aglio olio, potato wedges and tea for my friend.

Pork Back Bacon Aglio Olio
Husband's late lunch - Pork Back Bacon Aglio Olio. Delicious! Ever since we had the Aglio Olio from Bulgarian where husband declared as best Aglio Olio he ever had, he is so crazy over Aglio Olio. Lol!

3D Art Coffee
The 3D Art coffee in shape Hello kitty & Lion Head for us! The 3D Art is made from Skim Milk foam. The 3D art design is depends on barista's choice, we didn't get to choose actually.

Cuteness overload!  I really don't feel like want to drink it so it can remain like this forever!

55 cafe is occupying an very old heritage building. Most of the original structures and features are still remain untouched and it gives a nostalgia feeling to be here.

The backyard is reserved as an gallery. These large frames with pictures and words tells about the history of this building. This heritage building was used to be a coffee manufacturer company named "Kim Guan Coffee Factory" in the past.

The backyard is the place where coffee bean is processed in the past. The fire place and the instruments that used for process coffee bean is still attached.

Information about types of coffee and coffee's history can be found here too. After the coffee meet-up, we then drive back to KL and end of our short break in Penang.

Attached below is their new address in Google map.
