Desa Sri Hartamas, Bul Do Jang Korean-Chinese Restaurant | 불도장

This is one of the Korean-Chinese Restaurant that we always patronize in Desa Sri Hartamas. The Restaurant name 불도장 Bul-Do-Jang. Bul-do-jang is translated from the Chinese words "佛跳墙". The restaurant is selling Korean style Chinese food such as Jjangmyeon, Jjampong, Tang-suyuk and also some other 中華料理 (Junghwa yori which means Chinese Cruisine).  Read more about Korean-Chinese Cruisine HERE from Wikipedia.

Jajjangmyeom | 짜장면
Jajjangmyeon - Korean Dark Soya Sauce Noodle. This is so the best jajjangmyeon so far we can find in town. The taste is similar to what I taste in Korea. I'm glad we found another delicious Jajjangmyeon nearby our place. I used to favour Jajjangmyeon from another another Korean-Chinese Restaurant - DaeJangGuem. However, after the restaurant changed owner the taste is not as good before.

Jap-Chae Bap (잡채 밥)
If we don't eat Jajjangmyeon, we will go for Japchae-bap which is stir fried Korean glass noodle served with rice. The portion is a little to big for 1 pax and I normally couldn't finish the rice, so normally half of the rice will be finish by husband by mix it into the leftover jajjang sauce after we finish the Jajjangmyeon.

 Tang-shu-yuk | 탕수육
Tangshuyuk is sweet and sour pork. Beside pork, you may also choose beef also for their Tangshuyuk. We prefer beef as it taste better than pork. Recommended you give a try.

Our all time favourite combo!
But beware as the size is very huge for 2 pax, so we usually will take away half of the Tangshuyuk home.
