Low Yat Plaza, Hong Kong Food Culture | 港饮港食 粥面餐厅

Yesterday we found this very old restaurant selling nice Hong Kong's food on the lower basement food-court when we visit Low Yat Plaza browsing for latest electronic gadgets.

The restaurant has this old "Hong Kong Cha-Chan-Teng" feel. The open kitchen and the roasted duck hanging at a corner.

The old mosaic tiled floor.

The old wall tiles that offer a sense of nostalgia.

They have this corner selling fried stuff - street food in Hong Kong e.g.: fried pork intestine, fried fish ball, spring rolls, seafood tofu, deep fried squid, fried eggplant, curry fish ball, deep fried mushroom and other variety. We had Curry Fish Ball (RM2.00), Fried Seafood Tofu (RM2.00) and Taiwan Sausage (RM2.00).

Fried Beef Hor Fun (RM12.50)
This is one of the nice Fried Beef Hor Fun I ever have! The beef strips is tender. The green onions & bean sprout that saute with Hor Fun taste fresh and crispy.

Handmade Wantan Mee (Dry)

While Husband try their handmade wantan mee (dry). The taste is good that we actually return not long later and husband go for the wantan mee again!

# second visit

This time I go for Fried Cantonese Beef Hor Fun (RM12.50). The taste didn't disappoint me. But next time when we come again, I will have the Dried Hor Fun that I craving for. Should have just order the dried beef hor fun haha! We also try their Red Bean Soup Dessert (RM5.00).

We order this Fried Squid (RM8.00), fried stuff is always yummy!
