I am craving for cheese baked rice. We used to eat cheese baked rice at Kim Gary back in Penang. Now after living in this new town with no such restaurant nearby, I am going to make one myself for the first time since I bought Mozzarella cheese last night.
250gm minced chicken meat
1/2 Green Onion - diced
2-3 gloves garlic - minced
1 tomato - diced
1 bowl of rice
Cooking Olive oil
How to cook:
Step 1. Set the oven temperature at 220'c 5 minutes before bake.
Step 2. Meanwhile, heat a pan with 1 tablespoon of cooking olive oil, stir fried minced chicken meat, follow by dice onions, tomato and minced garlic with coking olive oil till cook and tender.
Step 3. Pour inn 1 can of spaghetti sauce, toss a dash of black pepper, mix well.
Step 4. Add 2 bowl of cooked rice on a dish-ware (microwave / oven usable), pour the sauce on top of the cook rice, stir well.
Step 5. Sprinkle the shredded Mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the sauce rice, put into the oven and bake for 10 to 15 mins, or until the cheese topping turn brownish or golden.
"Ding!" Simple yet yummy cheese baked rice is ready to serve! Husband loves it ~ ♥ I will make him cheese baked rice with kimchi samgyopsal (Fusion style) next time. Thanks to Dad & Mom for giving me such a nice glassware! p/s. I miss my family!
